School Information

Start and End of Day

A member of staff is on duty from 8.30am each day. Parents may drop their child at school from this time.

School begins at 8.45am.

School ends at 3.25pm for all pupils.

This provides 33 hours and 45 minutes of schooling each week.

After School Club

A Forest School Childcare Club runs after school Monday to Thursday until 5.30pm. Adventures are hosted in our school woodland each evening, based upon pupils' ideas. This is open to all pupils for £8.50 per session or £5.50 per hour. Please book in person at the office or telephone 01944 728286.

In addition to this childcare facility, several sports clubs take place after school. These alter according to the time of year and pupil and parent feedback to us. Please ask at the school for the latest details. There is no cost for these clubs.

Breaktimes

Morning break is held 10.15-10.30.

Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have a piece of fruit provided daily. Pupils under 5 years of age are provided with milk each day.

Drinks and homemade snacks are available for pupils to purchase so that they stay well fed and can concentrate fully throughout the day. All snacks and drinks are sold at morning break, priced at 20 pence per item. We are keen to provide pupils with an opportunity to select healthy snacks and independently use coins for shopping. Younger pupils are highly supported in this.

Afternoon playtime is 2-2.15pm.

Acts of Worship

A daily act of Worship is held, usually from 10-10.15am. 

Grace is said before lunch is eaten.

Each school day closes with a prayer.
